Motorsports Marketing Campaign

In 2025 Quixen partnered with construction company, Alcema, and semi-professional racing driver Max Coates to launch a motorsport marketing campaign. Max’s participation in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB offered a compelling platform to increase Alcema’s brand awareness and engage their stakeholders.

The Porsche Carrera Cup is one of the UK’s most competitive racing series and Max’s first overall win at Snetterton in 2025, faster than all but two drivers in the Cup’s 300-race history, was a stand-out moment of his career so far. Max and his Duckhams Yuasa Racing team embody Alcema’s values through their collaboration, ambition, and ability to perform under pressure. Along with this his eco-conscious approach, supported by Carbon Positive Motorsport, also reflects Alcema’s focus on sustainability.
Max’s journey from karting to Porsche driver makes him a seasoned competitor in British motorsport, and he has built a loyal following and is a regular on ITV’s race coverage. With over 30,000 social media followers and access to Porsche’s premium hospitality and TV coverage, he’s an ideal ambassador for Alcema’s brand.

Max’s support for the campaign ‘Race to Save Lives’, which uses the platform of British motorsport to encourage open conversations about mental health and suicide prevention, further illustrates the alignment of Max’s values with Alcema’s own charity work.

Quixen have been able to maximise Alcema’s brand exposure through logo placements on Max’s car and helmet, ensuring visibility during races and media coverage. Max commented, “It’s fantastic to welcome a partner whose values align so well with our team. I’m proud to represent Alcema and look forward to hosting their guests at Silverstone.” This is a great example of Quixen’s work and a dynamic partnership, delivering brand impact and client engagement, through top-tier motorsport.

Race Car Livery Design

Quixen worked with Alcema on an exciting project to design a striking new livery for their race car – balancing sponsor visibility with bold, brand-led design. The goal was to create something that not only aligned with Alcema’s wider marketing strategy, but also stood out on the racetrack and remained instantly recognisable at high speeds.

Starting with a brief from the client and some early concept sketches, we worked closely with the Alcema team to evolve the designs into a final look that was both visually impactful and practical for racing conditions. From the start, it was essential to consider not just the branding, but also how the design would perform in the real world – factoring in the car’s curves, potential wear areas, and how the livery would translate from screen to physical wrap.

The finished design features Alcema’s signature orange on the roll bars for an immediate hit of brand colour, paired with the dark navy blue across the bodywork. Their distinctive icon wraps dynamically around the car, helping tie everything together while ensuring strong on-track presence.

“This was a really exciting project to be part of,” said designer, Amy Robertson. “It’s always rewarding to see a bold concept come to life – and even better to see it racing out on the track!”

A bold look, a confident brand, and a project we’re proud to have delivered.
